ST. PETE WORKS! A workforce collaborative of community organizations working together to increase employment in the Community Redvelopment Area (CRA).
ST. PETE WORKS! is funded by the City of St. Petersburg Community Redevelopment Area and led by Pinellas Ex-Offender Re-Entry Coalition (PERC).
The collaborative’s guiding members include: Pinellas Re-Entry Coalition (PERC), The 2020 Plan Taskforce, Mount Zion Human Service, Pinellas Opportunity Council, Pinellas County Urban League.
ST. PETE WORKS! offers three ways to help employers and employees connect in greater numbers:
Provide training and developmental programs to assist individuals fill top industry careers.
Promote job opportunities with the CRA and throughout the city.
Produce solutions that increase job success for individuals with special needs.
To provide services and resources while creating economic empowerment and growth in the community.
To fulfill gainful employment by serving both job seekers and employers.
Prepare, Train, and Place those living in the CRA with continuous, upwardly mobile employment.

What We've Achieved
PERC has worked to provide construction training through Pinellas Technical College (PTC) for 24 St. Petersburg residents leading to multiple employment opportunities to all participants
2020 Plan Taskforce assisted in training 50+ seniors in digital, technology and job search skills.
